Headed to New York City with  Michael  and Courtney for their engagement photos. We had a great time walking around seeing what the city had to offer . They love wine so we headed into Little Italy and found this cool shop that had a tasting going on.  They wanted their session to be more of a personal touch of all of their favorite hobbies and we did just that . Cant wait for their wedding .

After we had finished a long day of shooting in Brooklyn, Andrea, Geoff and I headed to Times Square with the intent of recreating the iconic “V-J Day in Times Square” photo by Alfred Eisenstaedt. Geoff changed quickly into his navy uniform, my assistant stayed in the car, and we got a good one in about two or three shots. The cool thing though, is when I looked at the two images side by side when i got home ; I noticed that a number of aspects in the picture are coincidentally the same, in opposite colors. The lady in the back right, as well as the two main figures are the same, however, the lady is wearing black instead of white, and Geoff and Andrea’s clothes are reversed as well. It’s pretty crazy to think about how coincidences turn up like that.  Check it out !!! 🙂

seasons-nj-wedding-photographer-washington-township106 I felt really connected to Adelyn and Jon and their love of art, specifically architecture, which we tried to bring out in all our shots. I was very excited to be able to go up to the balcony during the ceremony because I was able to capture some beautiful leading lines that I knew they would appreciate. It was a beautiful day outside, and these two very emotional families made for a beautiful wedding.seasons-nj-wedding-photographer-washington-township057 (more…)

After that we made our way to Packanack lake, and put together a heartwarming shoot at the place they first met.

meat-packing-district-nyc-engagement-photographer015 Shayna and Fabian were looking for something more chic, fashionable, like they belonged in a magazine editorial. They got very dressed up for an engagement session, and we made our way from Chelsea to Battery Park looking to capture nothing but class. A beautiful night portraiture was their one request, the perfect way to end an elegant shoot.meat-packing-district-nyc-engagement-photographer001 meat-packing-district-nyc-engagement-photographer002 (more…)

rockleigh-country-club-nj-wedding-photographer-best059 Natalie and Omar celebrated their marriage at the beautiful Rockleigh Country Club. We’d become close friends, after I brought my wife along to dinner during some of our planning and I felt comfortable catching some of the most intimate moments throughout the day . Continuing on to the reception afterwords, everything was beautiful, the decor, her dress, all the way up to the smile on friends and family,rockleigh-country-club-nj-wedding-photographer-best002 rockleigh-country-club-nj-wedding-photographer-best003 (more…)

Nyc-engagement-wedding-photographerStarting off in the Meatpacking District near the Highline, New York City was the perfect location for Alicides and Kathy’s engagement session. We couldn’t find a more fitting backdrop for this lively couple. Trying to incorporate lots of architecture design, reflecting both of their artistic backgrounds, we made our way down to lower Manhattan to top off the day.
